This role offers an exciting opportunity for a licensed pharmacist to engage in both retail and long-term care pharmacy settings in a dynamic specialty pharmacy environment. The position is based in Grand Rapids, MN, with an 8+ week contract duration. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong balance between clinical expertise and customer service, supporting diverse patient needs across various pharmacy disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and dispense prescriptions in retail pharmacy settings ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Oversee long-term care medication regimens, supporting facility and patient-specific requirements
- Provide immunizations and counsel patients on medication therapies
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication management
- Participate in rotating weekend shifts Monday through Friday, 30-40 hours per week
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Minnesota Pharmacist License
- Immunization Certification and CPR Certification required
- PharmD degree or Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification preferred
- Experience in both retail and long-term care pharmacy settings, preferably within specialty pharmacy
- Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple duties
Schedule and Location:
- Monday to Friday with rotating weekend coverage
- 30-40 hours per week
- Location: Grand Rapids, MN
