About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Medical Director of Operations to serve as a key operational leader within its multi-specialty group practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of the medical group's clinical operations strategy, operational performance, and care delivery effectiveness. This role requires a physician with a medical degree (MD, DO) and a minimum of 5 years' recent and progressive management, program, or business development experience, along with a strong clinical background. The Executive Medical Director of Operations will work in a dyad partnership with the VP, Ambulatory Operations and VP COO, sharing accountability for the operational performance of ambulatory care delivery. The role demands a leader who can provide physician leadership and clinical operational direction across various care settings, with a focus on quality, affordability, experience, equity, and growth. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, operational excellence, and innovation in care delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in healthcare management, with a preference for those holding an MBA, MHA, or MPH in a related field. Essential qualifications include a current, unrestricted medical license, board certification, and a commitment to the values of the organization. The role also involves leadership development, staff engagement, and a strong emphasis on performance management and accountability.
