Engineer III - Hardware & Print Services

Opportunity OverviewSupports all aspects of end user hardware, fax system, and print system including end user support, troubleshooting/problem resolution, maintenance, enhancements, fleet management, and next generation device evaluation, integration, and deployment.What You'll Do: Assist with evaluation, integration, and support of end user hardware solutions including desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, etc.Independently design, configure, install, and maintain complex infrastructure components. Plan and execute initiatives for improving operational efficiencies through automation and/or enhancement of end user experience.Assist with technical development and mentoring of team members.Debug and correct complex internal and external infrastructure problems.Conduct peer walkthroughs to assure quality of designs and implementations. Provide all levels of support for assigned systems, including rotating assignment to provide 24x7 on-call coverage and monitoring system logs and messages. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices.Develop relationships with stakeholders.Create/modify documentation for multiple systems and functional areas.Position RequirementsWhat Experience You Need:Minimum of 5 years or more experience in supporting end user hardware and software in an enterprise environment.Develop, test, and deploy driver, firmware, and software packages in a Windows desktop environment.Advanced knowledge of Windows scripting languages including VB Script and PowerShell.Knowledge of Perl, Python, SQL, and Java a plus.Knowledge and experience working with enterprise-class software distribution tools (SCCM preferred).Experience in supporting Browser technologies including Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.Experience in troubleshooting and problem diagnosis using various tools such as Window Error Reporting, Procmon, and Wireshark.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues and their implications for projects and business decisions, facilitate discussion and resolution of problems, and mentor other IS associates.**Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026.
