Salary: $84,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:
- Hands-on experience testing and evaluating tactical electronic warfare systems, preferably within the AN/SLQ-32 family.
- Prior Navy experience as active-duty military, a civilian, or a contractor, involving shipboard operations, EW systems, or Combat Systems.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and practical test and evaluation methodologies.
- Experience with at-sea testing, data collection, and operational scenario execution.
- Ability to work in dynamic shipboard environments for extended periods of 2–4 weeks.
- Strong written communication skills, particularly for documenting test outcomes, issues, and technical observations.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with Navy stakeholders, engineers, and test teams.
- Preferred: Experience supporting IWS, NSWC, or other Navy program offices; familiarity with T&E documentation, processes, and readiness reviews; involvement in requirements development or software performance evaluation; or exposure to EW operator training, fleet support, or operational test events.
- Bachelors degree or relevant experience in the field.
- An active Secret clearance is required. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
- Support onboard testing and evaluation of AN/SLQ-32(V)6/7 tactical EW systems during shipboard test events.
- Participate in T&E working groups, technical interchanges, and planning meetings to develop and refine test strategies and execution plans.
- Help develop and validate system and software requirements based on observed performance and test results.
- Review Trouble Reports, identify issues, and coordinate with engineering teams to document and clarify resolution paths.
- Support pierside testing and integration at sites including Dahlgren, Virginia; Wallops Island, Virginia; and Moorestown, New Jersey.
- Document findings, observations, and system behaviors across test events, and prepare timely SITREPs for program stakeholders.
- Help create training and system familiarization materials informed by test results and operational feedback.
- Coordinate with ship crews, test teams, and EW system engineers to support test readiness, data collection, and scenario execution.
