Description Summary/Purpose of the Position: The Warehouse Technician I is responsible for order pulling, product receiving, shipping, packaging, labeling, inventory tracking, and other warehouse related tasks. Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities: 1. Accuracy in order pulling, shipping, and receiving of hazardous and non-hazardous materials 2. Prepares freight bills and monitors accuracy of completion 3. Works closely with freight carriers and delivery services to ensure fastest, safest, and most economical on-time delivery of products 4. Ensures orders are shipped to proper customer location, minimizing spill rates 5. Monitors bin locations, shelf life and FIFO, inventory counting, and cycle counts 6. Must maintain valid certificate of completion for forklift operations 7. Must maintain valid certificate of completion for DOT / HazMat 49 CRF 172.704 (Hazardous Material Transportation) and IATA, if applicable 8. Must follow all federal and state compliance requirements in shipping and receiving products 9. Assist with ISO quality assurance 10. Responsible for preventive maintenance and incident reporting for warehouse safety 11. Must facilitate two-way communications with coworkers and supervisory personnel to ensure full customer satisfaction 12. Must wear appropriate safety gear while on duty 13. Must monitor warehouse safety and personnel access to warehouse area 14. Maintain a good attendance and punctuality 15. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 1. High School diploma or GED required 2. 2+ years warehousing experience in an industrial, semi-conductor, and/or distribution industry 3. Warehouse management system experience (TWL experience with an RF gun is preferred) 4. 2+ years inventory processing, cycle counting and reconciliation 5. HazMat Certified or willing to complete the necessary training within 90 days of hire 6. May be required to possess a valid driver's license and be subject to periodic DMV checks 7. Organizational skills 8. Attention to detail 9. Sense of urgency in responsiveness 10. Ability to adapt to workplace Environment & Organizational change 11. Must be reliable, dependable, punctual, maintain good attendance and conscientious about production performance 12. Knowledgeable of "two-tier" reporting, if applicable 13. Computer literate in MS Word and Outlook; working knowledge of shipping and receiving software Physical Requirements: 1. Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 2. Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations. 3. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
