Field Data Collection Project

Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is a field data collection company founded in 2017 in Europe. We collect data where automation is not possible. We count features, take pictures, videos, record audio, and scan areas for every detail you need to make more informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to take on new challenges.

Project Objective

The objective of the project is to collect images of roads, key landmarks, and public areas. The project will be conducted on cars equipped with 360-degree cameras on the roof that capture the area around the vehicle and store these images on computers in the vehicle. This data will later be used to improve one of the world's most popular online maps.

Data collectors will be assigned specific routes along public roads and areas focusing on business districts and historical sites. Due to poor weather conditions, some areas will be visited multiple times to ensure the best possible image quality. The project is expected to last for at least 8 months and cover various city/state zones.

The ideal candidate may enjoy driving, knows the area and traffic trends well, is very responsible and reliable.

The expected schedule for the project is Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day, 40 hours per week. You can work more than 8 hours per day if you wish.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license (driving experience, at least 1-2 years)
• Must have a parking spot for a vehicle
• Must be allowed to work in Germany
• Must pass a security check
• Enjoys driving, with a flexible schedule
• Responsible & reliable
• Good driving skills
• Good communication skills
• High level of responsibility
• General car knowledge
• Tech-savvy (smartphone and basic apps)
• Basic computer skills
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
