Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Symmetry Workforce Solutions - Jefferson Health Program.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have at least 1 year experience in a level 3 or higher NICU or minimum 1 year PICU exp.

Required Credentials: Required to pass a basic Relias EKG exam for all units except Behavioral Triage with a score of 88% or higher. Will be given 3 attempts.

Special Requests: RTO requests must be approved by the facility.

Unit Details: Neonatal patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday. Holidays as required. No on-call.

Floating Requirements: Traveler will work in both neonatal and pediatric, depending on need of facility.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
