Part Cleaner

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part Cleaner to join a local company in Toledo, OH. This role is responsible for cleaning and preparing metal parts prior to the plating process to ensure quality finishes and adherence to customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All employees are offered competitive compensation ($18/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Eligible for monthly production bonuses. Available shifts: 1st shift (7:30AM to 4PM), Work 40 - 50 hrs weekly.

Position Responsibilities:

• Clean, degrease, and prepare metal parts for the chrome plating process.
• Remove dirt, oil, rust, and other contaminants using approved cleaning methods and equipment.
• Inspect parts before and after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met.
• Load, unload, and move parts throughout the production process.
• Operate cleaning equipment and follow established work instructions.
• Assist plating department personnel with production-related tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Report damaged parts, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervisors.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to meet customer requirements and production schedules.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must have 3 plus years at previous employers.
• Previous manufacturing, automotive, detailing, maintenance, or industrial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move parts throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude.
