We have a high visibility opportunity for a1stshiftProduction Supervisor. Overall responsibility for a manufacturing operations team consisting of roughly 15 employees. This individual will lead a team in a fast paced and dynamic environment to ensure products meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production. You willbe responsible fora safe work environmentand engage in daily interaction with other cross-business teams tomaintainand meet organizational goals andobjectives.This role requires daily interaction with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and the program management office. Achieving/exceeding cost, quality, delivery, safety goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using six sigma and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position.What You Will DoExecution of schedule and cost.Workforce planning and forecasting.Employee hiring and training.Time and Attendance Tracking.Area layout and flow managementEnsuring full compliance of company policies and proceduresCapital identification and control of overhead expenses.Qualifications You Must Have Typically require a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 5 years ofprior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.Supervisory, Leadership and/or Manufacturing/Operations experience is required.Qualifications We PreferExperience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean / six sigma.Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees.Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access).What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
