Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out comprehensive assessments of patients, ordering essential diagnostics, and tailoring individualized care strategies
• Diagnosing and treating various acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (subject to credentialing)
• Providing essential education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, comprehensive care
• Ensuring thorough and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education and Certification Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
