SCHEDULE: Part-time, 24 hours 7pm-7:30am Rotating weekends and holidays Daly 6B – Medical Intercare Unit Dedicated, close-knit team with engaged leadership and strong clinical expertise 42 total beds (21 intercare and 21 acute care) serving a broad medical population Excellent nurse-to-patient ratios and strong interdisciplinary support RESPONSIBILITIES: Baystate Health, Patient Care Technicians (PCT) play a hands-on role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care alongside our nursing team. Under the supervision of an RN, you'll assist with direct patient care, including hygiene, mobility, and vital sign monitoring. PCT’s perform a range of clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, specimen collection, and Point of Care testing. This role also includes assisting with procedures, patient transport, equipment management, and supporting emergency response protocols. QUALIFICATIONS: This position is part of a career ladder and hiring level determined by Recruitment.
