Merchant Brand Ambassador

Job Overview Join 2020 Companies as a Merchant Brand Ambassador and play a key role in building retail partner relationships, increasing program visibility, and supporting business growth across your territory. The role is located in New York (AMRET market), scheduled Monday ‑ Friday, with pay at $25 per hour plus a 10% Monthly Bonus Opportunity. No weekends required. Responsibilities Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship‑focused manner. Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits. Provide on‑site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence. Place and maintain point‑of‑sale materials and branding in‑store. Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems. Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met. Partner with the client to train and advocate client products at the retailer. Drive merchant awareness within your assigned territory. Maintain professional interaction with both merchants and fellow employees. Attempt to place point‑of‑purchase signage on exterior and/or interior of business. Advise merchants by providing information on products. Audit and record competitive products, promotions, merchandising, displays, and merchant feedback. Travel to major markets and events for iconic launches to promote products. Contribute to team effort by assisting in launch‑related activities as needed. Accurately track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations, ensuring feedback reporting is submitted in a timely manner. Day‑to‑Day Expectations Field‑based position with daily travel within your assigned territory, approximately 22‑35 retail visits per day depending on geography and scheduling. Mix of in‑store engagement, driving, and administrative follow‑up, executed independently with strong support from leadership and training teams. Compensation & Benefits Pay: $25 per hour plus a 10% Monthly Bonus Opportunity. Schedule: Monday ‑ Friday; no weekends. Weekly Pay (DailyPay options available). Paid training and onboarding support. Mileage reimbursement and paid travel time. Next‑day pay options available. Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k). Company‑provided mobile device and materials. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working independently in a field‑based environment. Organized, reliable, and able to manage a daily route. Adaptable, professional, and customer‑focused. Prior retail, sales, field marketing, or customer‑facing experience is a plus. Excellent presentation and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment. Reliable transportation within the assigned territory. Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and successful MVR screening.
