Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description: The Sonographer performs imaging examinations on patients of all ages, contributing to the efficient operations of the department and ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Utilizing specific training in the imaging modality, the Sonographer provides excellent patient care and may take on additional responsibilities such as receptionist/clerk duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging examinations on patients from newborns to geriatrics.
• Ensure the quality and continuity of patient care in the imaging department.
• Utilize specialized training in sonography to conduct examinations.
• Assist with receptionist/clerk duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Graduate of an accredited Sonography program or equivalent preferred.
• Current ARDMS registration (abdomen or OB/GYN) or equivalent required; multiple specialties preferred.
• Two years of post-graduation experience necessary.
• Current BLS certification required.
• GE ultrasound and Trophon experience preferred.
