Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Los Banos, California. This position involves working in a dynamic surgical environment with a variety of procedures. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with surgeries, and maintaining sterile techniques in accordance with hospital protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS certification, ACLS certification, PALS certification, at least 2 years of operating room experience, and experience with charting systems.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, trauma level II experience, and prior experience working in an operating room setting.
• Additional Information: The role requires the ability to handle a variety of surgical procedures including abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, appendectomy, colon resection, and orthopedic surgeries. Candidate must be able to take on call for the OR team 12-14 days per month, with the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. All certifications must be valid and uploaded with proper expiration dates. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in OR and be prepared to support a fast-paced surgical environment.
