CT Technologist

Schedule: Friday - Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM EST On call: 2-3 shifts per month

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• NYS CT Tech License required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY) required
• Two years of experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
• Injection therapy certification preferred (to be completed during orientation)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan, adhering to safety protocols.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures to ensure comfort.
• Position patients correctly, using safe patient handling techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record system, documenting necessary components and ensuring images are sent to the appropriate system upon exam completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment.
