Location 490 3rd St, Lake Elsinore, CA, 92530, United States Base Pay $17.00 - $26.00 / Hour Employee Type FT Non-Exempt About the role A Kitter has the unique responsibility of preparing our ingredient kits according to customer specifications in preparation for a production run. This role requires strong attention to detail, basic understanding of weights and measures, and the ability to collaborate. The Kitter partners with multiple internal departments to help maintain the production flow. Responsibilities Creating ingredient kits (an action called kitting) that are used for production according to client specifications. Using GMPs, keeping the staging room clean, accurate weights, using conversions, FIFO ingredients, inventory of ingredients, reviewing expiration dates. Reporting and communicating any discrepancies with ingredients, expired, shortages, missing, with leads or supervisors. Maintaining cleanliness of raw materials and finished product as well as any work stations or areas. Documenting daily activities using company or client technology and collaborating with other team members to ensure a smooth flow of production. Walk-in-cooler temperature checks twice a day or when needed, report any malfunction to the QC Manager. Complete any other activities or duties as assigned. Competencies Detail oriented Accountability Technical Knowledge Requirements and Qualifications High School diploma, GED or equivalent Demonstrated competency of basic math, reading and writing skills Strong attention to detail and follow through on assigned tasks Competency in communication skills, written and verbal Previous weighing or measuring experience preferred Previous experience in a comparable role or industry preferred Physical and Workplace Requirements Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs Must be able to operate machinery and lift, bend, stoop and reach Must operate in a safe manner at all times Must be able to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time Must be able to communicate effectively with others Must demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality #J-18808-Ljbffr Kids for the Future
