About Us

We are a kids indoor playground in Exton, PA, dedicated to making every visit fun, safe, and memorable for kids and families. We host play sessions, birthday parties, and special events in a fun, fast-paced, and family-focused environment.

Position Overview

We are hiring a Shift Leader to help with daily operations and lead our team of Play Center Associates. The Shift Leader will support the team, ensure excellent customer service, maintain safety standards, and help keep the facility running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Shift Leadership & Team Support

• Lead and support Play Center Associates during assigned shifts.
• Ensure employees remain engaged, productive, and attentive to their assigned responsibilities.
• Communicate daily priorities, operational updates, and important information to team members.
• Serve as a role model for professionalism, customer service, safety, and teamwork.
• Communicate staffing or performance concerns to management.

Front Desk & Guest Services

• Greet all members, guests, and prospective members with a positive, high-energy, and welcoming attitude.
• Handle admissions, waivers, memberships, and party bookings.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist guests with questions or concerns.
• Operate the POS system and accurately handle cash and card transactions.
• Assist with resolving guest concerns and escalate situations to management when necessary.

Playground Floor & Safety

• Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety, well-being, and enjoyment.
• Respond calmly and appropriately to urgent or unforeseen situations.
• Ensure staff remain attentive and properly positioned while supervising children.
• Report accidents, incidents, maintenance concerns, or safety issues to management promptly.
• Help ensure the facility remains clean and organized throughout the shift.

Birthday Parties & Special Events

• Host and lead birthday parties and special events.
• Greet party families and explain party flow, schedules, and rules.
• Assist with set up and clean party rooms before and after events.
• Assist with staff coordination during busy party periods.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service, childcare, hospitality, recreation, or leadership experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or shift-lead experience is a plus.
• Friendly, upbeat, dependable, and customer-service focused.
• Comfortable working around young children and families.
• Able to multitask in a busy, family-focused environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.
• Basic computer/POS skills.
• Comfortable providing direction and support to team members.
• Able to work independently and make appropriate decisions during a shift.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Schedule

• Weekdays, weekends, and holidays may be required.
• Full-time preferred; part-time opportunities may be available.
