Emergency Department Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN for our Emergency Department to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced setting. The RN will assess and treat patients with acute and critical conditions while communicating effectively with providers, patients, and families.

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with emergency and urgent health conditions.

Perform triage, prioritizing patient care based on clinical assessment and acuity.

Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions and responses to treatment.

Administer medications, IV fluids, and perform procedures within scope of practice.

Collaborate with Emergency Department physicians, mid-level providers, and allied health staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.

Assist with orientation and guidance for Emergency Department technicians and support staff.

Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (required).

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification (preferred).

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency or Critical Care nursing (required).

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Montana (or ability to obtain).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required).

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (required).

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications (required or obtained within 6 months of hire).
