This professional will work as part of a strong Student Services team to provide proactive and responsive support and services to all students and families. Qualifications Master's Degree or higher, state certification as Administrator/Director (preferably special education) Massachusetts Educator License Minimum 3 years professional experience in special education Cultural responsiveness and a growth mindset with students, families, and staff are a must. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as effective problem solving skills Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks, as well as the ability to be flexible and organized in a fast paced environment Knowledgeable and proficient with Federal/State laws and regulations and the IEP Team meeting process. Responsibilities Supervise and evaluate educators and paraprofessionals Oversee Special Education and Guidance Departments Provide School Leadership as part of the administrative team at the elementary school Collaborate with Student Services Team and administration to continuously reimagine, and improve services and interventions informed by ongoing needs assessment, data review, and innovation in the field Provide Leadership to the Student Assistance Team, identifying underdeveloped skills, antecedents, and related interventions If you are interested in applying for this amazing opportunity, please submit a cover letter, resume, and three (3) letters of reference.
