Core Government Services Corporation
Job Description
Job Description
CGS is looking for a S35 Protection / Law Enforcement Professional (LEP) to support the US Army's Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) at Fort Leavenworth, KS.
The S35 Protection / Law Enforcement Professional (LEP) supports the U.S. Army Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) by developing, integrating, and executing realistic law enforcement, military police, and protection-related scenario content during Warfighter Exercises (WFXs). The LEP contributes to the replication of civil security operations, rule of law environments, and the integration of the Protection Warfighting Function (WfF) across Division- and Corps-level training events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scenario and Storyline Development: Provide Military Police (MP) and Law Enforcement (LE) scenario scripting support, including Rule of Law and civil security scenario products depicting humanistic and stability operations within towns and communities.
- Protection WfF Integration: Support the design and delivery of realistic Protection Warfighting Function (WfF) challenges, ensuring integration with other warfighting functions and synchronization across the exercise scenario.
- EPW and Detainee Operations: Plan, coordinate, and execute Enemy Prisoner of War (EPW) and detainee operations within the WFX, ensuring all related processes reflect doctrinal accuracy and real-world procedures.
- Law Enforcement Reporting: Produce law enforcement reports and summaries that add narrative depth and support intelligence analysis stemming from:
- Law enforcement questioning of detained personnel
- Key Leader Engagements (KLEs)
- Coordination with local or host-nation police forces
- Scenario Enrichment: Create and manage named areas, border police, and local law enforcement figures as part of scenario design to enhance realism and context.
- Simulation and Exercise Support: Provide Protection WfF simulation support and coordinate with simulation controllers to ensure injects, reports, and events accurately represent Protection-related actions and decisions.
- Dynamic Storyline Crafting: Develop storylines and injects that challenge training audiences' Protection WfF capabilities, including force protection, antiterrorism, physical security, CBRN defense, and law enforcement operations.
- Coordination and Collaboration: Work closely with MCTP staff, observer-coach/trainers (OC/Ts), and training audience protection cells to synchronize law enforcement and protection activities with the overall scenario and training objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint software.
- Familiar with current Army and Joint doctrine.
- BS/BA degree with 5+ years of military experience, or high school education with 10 years military experience.
- Active DOD Secret clearance is required.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Graduate of the Military Police Captains Career Course, Command and General Staff College (CGSC), or equivalent professional military education.
- Experience developing or supporting scenario design, collective training, or Warfighter Exercises (WFX).
- Familiarity with Operational Environment (OE) replication, civil affairs, stability operations, or hybrid threat environments.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to produce doctrinally accurate reports and scenario injects.
Working Conditions: Inside Government training facilities.
Required Travel: Employees will travel to temporary work locations during exercises.
Job Type: Part-Time On-Call, Exempt
Contract Length: More than 1 year
