Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool Unit Overview The Float Pool team provides vital nursing support across various departments, including the Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU, ensuring high-quality patient care throughout the facility. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a float capacity across multiple units, adhering to established protocols and standards.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and their families regarding care plans and treatment updates.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards of care while facilitating a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance nursing practices and patient care delivery.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered.
- Current and valid nursing license in the state of practice.
- Strong clinical skills and adaptability to provide care across various inpatient units.
- Ability to work flexible hours and assist with staffing needs across the facility.
- One major holiday: expected to work one holiday.
- Two major holidays: expected to work both holidays.
- Three major holidays: expected to work two of the three holidays.
