DevOps Specialist

Introduction

We are looking for a skilled professional responsible for building, testing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools for software/code development, deployment, and release. The role involves speeding up and automating aspects of the software lifecycle through a series of DevOps practices and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

7 years of experience with Linux
3 years of experience with GCP
7 years of experience with Client Windows
7 years of experience with GitHub
7 years of experience with Jenkins
5 years of experience with Cloud Infrastructure
5 years of experience with Python
5 years of experience in a relevant field
Prior work experience at client or in the client's industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

3 years of experience with Azure
Experience with embedded systems build and development process
Team leadership experience

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Imbibe DevOps methodology and practices across the product lifecycle for various software components
Accelerate software releases while ensuring security and mitigating the risk of failed/recalled software releases
Ensure increase in cycle speed between feedback from end-user to updated software by leveraging continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous feedback
Assess current systems and processes, and identify and implement ways to improve them
Utilize platform and enterprise tools and infrastructure to facilitate DevOps methodology and approach
Assist code/software releases and deployments in various environments like production, testing, sandbox, etc.
Identify and spearhead creation of automation and innovation opportunities throughout the software product lifecycle
Setting up, maintaining, and optimizing pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions)
Deploy updates and fixes as required to ensure Continuous Integration
Develop solutions to integrate with internal back-end systems as needed
Perform root cause analysis of development and production build and pipeline issues
Develop automation to enhance current processes
Develop new procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
