Clinical Specialist, Wound Care SuppliesAsure Wound Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Specialist, Wound Care Supplies to join our team. This is a remote position based in the Northern Illinois area (you must live in this area) and requires experience working in nursing homes or long-term care facilities as well as a strong background in wound care. The ideal candidate must be comfortable driving distances up to 2 hours away.Starting salary for this position is $75,000/yr.Benefits include: travel reimbursement, paid Holidays, PTO, Health benefits.Shift: Monday - Friday.Wound Care Responsibilities:Provide clinical expertise and support to nursing homes and long-term care facilities in the management of wounds and wound-related conditionsDevelop and implement wound care plans for residents in collaboration with the interdisciplinary teamEducate and train nursing home staff on proper wound care techniques, products and equipment usageCollaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper wound care is provided in a timely mannerMonitor and document the progress of wounds and adjust wound care plans as neededMaintain current knowledge of best practices in wound care and stay abreast of new developments in the fieldWound Care Requirements:Active nursing licenseAt least 3 years of nursing experience in nursing homes or long-term care facilitiesWound care certification preferredStrong understanding of wound care principles and practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft OfficeMust be comfortable driving distances up to 2 hours awayAsure Wound Solutions offers a competitive salary and benefits package for our Clinical Specialists, Wound Care Supplies.
