Sanitas Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our Jacksonville, Florida medical center. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys outpatient primary care and building long-term relationships with adult patients (18+) in a collaborative, value-based care environment.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care while working alongside an integrated healthcare team focused on improving patient outcomes, preventive care, and overall wellness. Physician Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to adult patients (18+) Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Perform preventive care, annual wellness visits, and chronic disease management Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations Educate patients on preventive health, chronic disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices Coordinate care with specialists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives Qualifications: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain prior to employment Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain Current BLS certification Strong communication, teamwork, and patient relationship-building skills Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care Previous outpatient primary care or value-based care experience preferred Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary Performance-based incentive bonus Sign-on bonus available Relocation assistance available Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) retirement plan Employer-paid malpractice coverage CME allowance and paid CME time (if applicable) Why Join Sanitas Medical Center?
