Warehouse-Team Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and organized direct hire Team Lead. The Warehouse Team Member I plays a critical role in our distribution center, utilizing RF scanners, WMS applications, and material handling equipment to manage battery inventory and order fulfillment. This position requires high accuracy, a commitment to safety, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $39,520 - $39,520.01 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Battery Management: Load/unload, restock, charge, test, and clean batteries.
• Operations: Accurately process system and manual transactions, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping. Maintain accurate warehouse reporting and claims.
• Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment. Properly tag pallets for distribution.
• Equipment: Operate a forklift (current certification required).
• Teamwork: Collaborate professionally with warehouse and department staff. Ability to multitask and transition quickly between duties.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Warehouse experience preferred (forklift, electric pallet jack, stretch-wrap machine, RF/HH equipment).
• Basic computer knowledge or ability to learn applicable systems.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Must be able to walk/stand consistently throughout the shift.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; occasionally 75 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working in a battery warehouse environment, including exposure to moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, or chemicals.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.
• Overtime may be required.
