Experience with automatic transmission, manual transmission, drivetrain and axle repair, suspension and steering systems, brake repair, electrical systems, and electronic diagnostics is required. Skilled in HVAC systems, vehicle troubleshooting, and advanced diagnostic scan tools. Experience performing automotive service technician duties in dealership service departments or independent repair shops, including warranty repair, recall repair, and vehicle inspections. ASE certification in engine repair, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, HVAC, and engine performance is strongly preferred.
