Job Summary:
One of our clients is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their manufacturing team in Peabody, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-precision components while ensuring quality and production standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate, set up, and maintain CNC machines for precision manufacturing
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Program CNC machinery and adjust machine settings as needed
• Perform quality inspections and ensure finished products meet specifications
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary corrections
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Ensure adherence to quality control standards and manufacturing processes
Required Qualifications:
• Strong experience with CNC machining and machine operation
• Experience with milling and industrial machining equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures and measurements
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• CNC programming and setup experience is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical certifications or vocational training preferred
