Events Liaison

The Events Liaison at The Resort at Longboat Key Club plays a pivotal role in coordinating and managing events to ensure seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments and external vendors to deliver memorable events. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of event planning and execution, from initial inquiry to event completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the resort and event clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as catering, housekeeping, and front desk to ensure event requirements are met.
• Maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to secure necessary event resources.
• Monitor event budgets and timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
• Assist in marketing and promoting resort events as needed.
• Handle any event-related issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning, coordination, or a related hospitality role.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of the Longboat Key, FL area is a plus.
• High school diploma required; degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
