AAA Urgent Care is seeking an energetic, dependable, and compassionate full-time Medical Assistant to join our growing team. We are a patient-focused urgent care clinic that takes pride in providing high-quality care in a professional, welcoming environment.

We are looking for someone who works well with others, communicates professionally with patients and staff, and is willing to stay productive and helpful during both busy and slower periods.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Room and triage patients
• Perform venipuncture/blood draws and process specimens appropriately
• Administer injections and vaccines
• Perform EKGs, urine testing, rapid testing, and other clinical procedures
• Accurately document patient encounters in the EMR
• Assist providers with exams and minor procedures
• Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies
• Deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring an efficient patient flow

Qualifications:

• Previous Medical Assistant experience is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with the right attitude and work ethic.
• Must be comfortable performing blood draws and injections (or be willing and able to learn quickly).
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• X-ray experience is a plus but not required ; we are happy to train the right candidate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
