Ideal candidates for this position possess:

• Current Occupational Therapy license for New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain)
• School-based OT experience, with strong knowledge of IEP processes and pediatric interventions
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt therapy techniques for varying student needs
• Excellent collaboration skills with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Effective written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and time-management abilities

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct occupational therapy services to students as per IEPs
• Conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and ongoing progress monitoring
• Collaborating in team meetings and contributing to development of student IEPs
• Maintaining timely and accurate documentation, some of which can be completed from home
• Consulting with educators and families to facilitate student success across school activities
