Full-Time Dental Assistant — Monday to Friday Full-Time | Santa Monica, CA Were looking for a reliable and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Santa Monica . This role requires full-time availability with at least 2 Saturdays a month. If youre a motivated self-starter with strong clinical skills and a great work ethic, wed love to connect with you. Compensation Hourly Pay: We pay hourly depending on experience, with consistent full-time hours and opportunities to pick up additional shifts across our offices based on performance and availability. Benefits Monthly bonus opportunities available Six paid holidays per year: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day PTO or sick leave accrued based on hours worked Coverage for X-ray licenses and other relevant certifications based on performance Opportunities for additional hours across multiple offices Responsibilities: Welcome patients and ensure a comfortable experience Assist the dentist chairside during procedures Take x-rays and impressions Maintain strict sterilization protocols and a clean operatory Monitor supplies and lab cases Complete daily, weekly, and monthly logs Call in prescriptions as directed Provide clear and accurate post-operative instructions Document clinical notes precisely and thoroughly Perform additional tasks as assigned Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental practice High School Diploma or GED (dental assisting certification preferred) Strong communication and organizational skills Experience with Diamond Dental, Dentrix, Open Dental, or similar dental software Current Hep B, 8-Hour Infection Control Certification, California X-ray License, and CPR/BLS Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently on Saturdays Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Employee discount Free parking On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Clove Dental
