Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse, you will be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives. Every day you will collaborate on comprehensive screenings, conduct critical risk assessments, provide vital preventive health education, and expertly coordinate care for diverse patient populations, leveraging technology to streamline processes. You'll ensure patients feel informed and at ease, patiently guiding them through instructions and addressing their concerns. To be successful in this role, you will combine robust clinical knowledge and technological proficiency with genuine compassion, strong communication skills, and an adaptable approach to learning and patient‑centered care. Responsibilities Complete all assessments, admissions, transfers, shift assessments, and discharge assessments within the time frames established by hospital policy. Reassess patient status as indicated. Identify psycho‑social, spiritual, cultural, and learning needs and discharge planning. Identify predictable patient problems, life‑threatening situations, low‑volume/high‑risk patient problems, and anticipate less predictable patient problems, initiating appropriate interventions. Recognize the relationship between physiological and environmental factors and their effect on the patient/family. Identify current patient/family coping mechanisms, support systems, and their effectiveness. Job Requirements One (1) year and six (6) months of experience in the specialty area preferred. New graduates are not eligible; we require at least six months of acute‑care experience. Valid California RN license. AHA‑BLS (Basic Life Support). AHA‑ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
