Date Position Available: 2026-2027 school year

Qualifications: (023) Educational Technician III and current CHRC authorization through the State of Maine Department of Education.

Position Description: MSAD #11 is currently seeking a team oriented, energetic, and creative professional to join the District Staff as an Educational Technician III in the Gifted and Talented program. The successful candidate will mentor and support students through their personal learning plans and serve as a resource for general education teachers.

Responsibilities Include:

Providing direct instruction for students through lessons that have been co-planned and are supported by the Gifted and Talented Teacher
Conducting Personalized Learning Plan meetings
Providing written reports to teachers
Corresponding with parents and teachers of identified students
Recruiting Community resources for staff and students
Conducting Type I activities for the general student population in accordance with the School Wide Enrichment Model (SEM)
Conducting Type II activities for general population
Overseeing and assisting with Type III activities for identified Gifted/Talented students
