Respiratory Therapist: NICU

Job Description: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) needed for a 13-week contract in Washington, Missouri. In this role, you’ll support respiratory services in an acute care setting by setting up and operating therapeutic gas administration apparatus and mechanical ventilators. You’ll also be involved in emergency respiratory care, including external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, and assisting with cardiopulmonary resuscitation when needed. In addition to hands‑on equipment work, you’ll maintain accurate chart documentation with patient identification and therapy information. Schedule is 12-hour days (3×12) with 36 hours per week guaranteed. Weekend coverage is as needed, and float requirements apply as needed by the facility. To be considered, hold a current RCP license in the state of practice and certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. Experience of 1+ years is required, with strong knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation, plus respiratory equipment experience. Basic nursery experience is a plus.
