Field Marketing Manager
$131k - $150kSnapdocs, Inc.
The U.S. mortgage market is a $14 trillion pillar of the economy — and much of it still runs on fax machines, overnight shipping, and manual workflows. Snapdocs is changing that. Our platform currently powers 20% of all real estate closings in the country, and we’re just getting started. We design workflow software and AI-driven automation that connects lenders, settlement teams, notaries, and investors — eliminating friction, reducing risk, and delivering a faster, simpler closing for every borrower. Our customers range from the largest mortgage lenders to independent title companies. They trust us because we solve real operational pain with empathy, rigor, and reliability. We’re backed by Sequoia, Y Combinator, and F-Prime, and we’re building for the long term. Why this role exists Snapdocs is the trusted infrastructure for high-stakes transactions. We started in mortgage, where trust is not assumed, the work is fragmented across many parties, and the cost of mistakes is real - and are bringing that same standard of trust to other markets. Years of automating the hardest tasks gave us something more foundational than workflow software: an AI-native platform that makes complex work easy to complete, hard to get wrong, and built to withstand scrutiny over time. Field marketing turns that promise into tangible presence and relationships in the market by owning the programs that put Snapdocs in front of the right audiences, in the right settings, for the right reasons. You’ll turn conferences, executive programs, customer gatherings, partner activations, and account-based programs into credible brand experiences, tight relationships, and measurable commercial impact. The role This is a hands-on field marketing role with broad ownership. You’ll help shape where and why Snapdocs shows up, choose the programs most relevant to our audiences and business priorities, manage the details that make those programs work, and connect every program to coordinated Sales and Marketing follow-up. Events are the primary channel, but field marketing is broader than event execution. It also includes regional programs, executive presence, customer and prospect engagement, partner programs, and account-based plays across Snapdocs’ markets. You’ll help make our mission tangible by creating experiences that simplify complexity, build trust, and move the right relationships forward. What you'll own Take ownership of a strong, existing events lineup for mortgage, primarily geared towards sales in-person meetings, and then building the playbook for expanding event presence on-stage, in new thought-leadership forums and through field motions. Strategize a new non-real-estate events plan, including identifying strategic event and field motions in priority adjacent industries, designed to establish credibility, develop relationships, and create pipeline in those markets. Unify existing and new vertical field marketing strategies into a tiered event strategy across industry, partner, customer, and executive programs. Decide the right level of presence for each program, from attendance and executive meetings to sponsorships, booths, speaking opportunities, roundtables, dinners, and roadshows. Run event programs end to end: goals, budget, registrations, vendors, booth and materials, attendee lists, on-site execution, and follow-up. Partner with Lender and Settlement Sales to connect event plans to target accounts, meetings, and next steps, ensuring event participation converts into a repeatable pipeline and revenue motion, strengthens Snapdocs’ credibility across the mortgage ecosystem and new verticals, and builds executive, partner, and customer relationships that support growth Work with Revenue Marketing on pre-event outreach, in-event signal capture, and post-event follow-up, including help with prospecting, messaging and social engagement. Use HubSpot as the system of record for event planning, lists, activity tracking, and handoffs, with Salesforce and Slack connected where needed. Track cost per attendee, meetings booked, meeting follow-up, qualified opportunities, pipeline impact, and 30-day post-event ROI. Use what you learn to make sharper investment calls. What we're looking for 4+ years of field marketing, event marketing, or go-to-market marketing experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, financial services, or a similarly complex industry. A track record of owning events or field programs that contributed to qualified meetings, pipeline, customer relationships, or revenue. Excellent project management. You keep many workstreams moving, write clear next steps, and make it obvious who owns what and when. Strong judgment on event investment. You can assess attendee lists, audience fit, sponsorship value, sales goals, cost, and expected return before recommending a program. Experience working closely with sales, customers, partners, vendors, and executives. You make it easy for others to do their part and keep things from falling through the cracks. Comfort learning and operating marketing automation, CRM, lead capture, or event systems. Direct HubSpot experience is a plus. Experience working on a lean marketing team with broad ownership, from deciding where to invest to making sure the room is ready. Ability to travel to industry events, customer programs, and executive gatherings. Travel will be dependent on the specific event needs, but this role is not required to be at every event, instead using good judgment and clear evaluation of need to determine on-site presence levels. AI proficiency at Snapdocs AI proficiency is a core expectation at Snapdocs. We expect you to use AI as part of your day-to-day work, with real judgment about where it helps and where you need to check the output. For this role, that might include researching events, organizing event data, drafting outreach or briefs, building repeatable planning workflows, and connecting systems for regular check-ins and next steps for supporting partners. You should be curious about new uses, able to explain what changed in your work, and willing to verify what AI produces before it reaches a customer or sales team. Compensation and benefits We believe in being upfront about pay. The base salary range for this role is as follows: $131,000 - $150,000 Where you land within the range depends on your experience, skills, and how you'll make an impact in the role. In addition to base salary and variable compensation, this position includes meaningful equity and a comprehensive benefits package. Why Snapdocs We’re here to transform one of the most critical and complex industries in the world. That requires a team that is curious, driven, thoughtful, and practical. We value: Product discipline and clear reasoning Deep ownership of outcomes (not just tasks) Straightforward, honest communication Empathy for the people who use our software This is a place for people who want to solve hard, meaningful problems with real economic impact — not just ship features. Join Us We’re expanding our product suite and the network it connects. To do that, we need people who are excited by complexity, energized by scale, and motivated to make a tangible dent in how the mortgage ecosystem works. If you’re hungry to learn, build, and lead — you’ll do the best work of your career here. To support our team, we offer a comprehensive & thoughtful benefits package for all full-time employees, which includes: Excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with up to 4% company match 16 weeks of paid parental leave Flexible Paid Vacation Time Off + 10 Sick Days for exempt roles Generous Accrued Paid Vacation Time Off + 10 sick days for non-exempt roles Summer & Winter Break (~1-week each) + 9 Holidays per year Healthcare and Dependent Care FSA HSA Employer Contribution ($75-150 for individuals, $150-$250 for families) $15K Family Building Benefit (lifetime limit) Life and Disability Insurance $1,500 Annual Lifestyle Stipend to support your well-being Please note: Part-time employees are not eligible for benefits at this time Snapdocs is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
