Position Summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is hiring a Senior ServiceNow Developer for a DC Government client. In this role you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

You will be responsible for maintaining and performing continual service improvements on the following implemented modules: IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Financial Management (ITFM), Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM). You will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Development and Configuration Responsibilities

• Work with the product owner and stakeholders to build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes and meet business requirements.

• Document and maintain functional business requirements, process flows, and business use cases.

• Perform operational administrative tasks as needed.

• Assist with report configuration and maintenance as needed.

• Configure and maintain data integrations between ServiceNow and other systems.

• Design and develop ServiceNow forms and tables as well as modules.

• Develop workflow and Flow Designer solutions where required to drive approvals and process lifecycle.

• Design, create, and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs, including advanced scripting of each and covering CMS and Service Portal.

• Design, create, and configure notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, formatters, and related components in ServiceNow.

Best Practices and Governance

• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, agency security guidelines, and governance policies, and maintain as close to an out-of-the-box environment as possible.

• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Contract Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software.

2. Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications.

3. Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion or integration of new products based on client requirements.

4. Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software.

5. Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.

6. Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.

7. Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects for management.

8. Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration, and testing tools.

9. Resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

10. Act as team leader on projects.

11. Instruct, assign, direct, and check the work of other software developers on the development team.

12. Participate in development of software user manuals.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification is highly desired.

• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development of the modules listed above.

• Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• In-depth knowledge of implementing ServiceNow architecture and ServiceNow scripting.

• Experience creating ServiceNow update sets and promoting and testing through multiple instances and into production.

• Demonstrated knowledge of service management processes, procedures, and software, including knowledge of ServiceNow.

Minimum Education and Certification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
