Job Description

The Budtender is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting patients/customers with selecting cannabis products that best meet their needs. This position requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and the ability to create a welcoming and professional environment.

Customer Service

Greet all customers and provide a friendly, welcoming experience.
Verify identification and ensure compliance with state regulations.
Answer questions regarding products, strains, consumption methods, potency, and effects.
Provide recommendations based on customer preferences and needs.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with all customers.

Sales and Transactions

Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale system.
Handle cash, debit transactions, gift cards, and store credits responsibly.
Promote current sales, specials, and loyalty programs.
Upsell products when appropriate while maintaining an educational approach.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

Product Knowledge

Stay informed about available products, including:
- Flower
- Concentrates
- Edibles
- Cartridges and Disposables
- Tinctures
- Topicals
- Accessories
Understand cannabinoid profiles, terpene effects, and consumption methods.
Attend training sessions and remain current on new products and industry trends.
