Diesel Mechanic/Field Service

A manufacturing facility in York, SC is looking for a Field Diesel Technician looking to interview candidates ASAP. This role is fast paced and demanding. This company is growing quickly and willing to train for upward progression. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. This role will operate off the 1st shift schedule Monday-Thursday. 3-5 years of Diesel Technician experience required! Travel and on-call availability is required as well. salary: $60,320 - $68,640 per year shift: First work hours: 6 AM - 4:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, restoration and repair of Hydra Platform equipment at our location and occasionally at the customer’s location Has a Mechanical background with hydraulics Has Proficient knowledge of Electrical schematics and diagrams Has good Troubleshooting abilities Being able to weld and read welding blueprints is a plus Essential Functions working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes working in a non-temperature controlled environment manual lifting up to 50lbs standing for 10 hours at one time working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week Skills Diesel Mechanic Experience (4 years of experience is preferred) CDL (3 years of experience is preferred) Field Service Experience (4 years of experience is preferred) Small Engine Repair (4 years of experience is preferred) Qualifications Years of experience: 4 years Experience level: Experienced Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. In addition, Randstad offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: medical, prescription, dental, vision, AD&D, and life insurance offerings, short-term disability, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
