Labor & Delivery RN
Schedule - Shift: 3x12-hour Days, 07:00–19:30
Assignment Details - Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off staff once per pay period
Requirements - Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience - Valid state license required - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate - Must be able to circulate and perform sterile vaginal exams - LA Fire Card required within the last 30 days - Must complete pre-start modules (average 16 hours)
Roles & Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor and delivery - Monitor mother and infant during labor and immediately after delivery - Assist in performing assessments, interventions, and evaluations of care - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Compliance / Notes - Must float between facilities within the state - Orientation/modules must be completed prior to start - All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application - Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
