Supervisor Patient Access

Description The Supervisor, Patient Access is responsible for the 24/7 supervision of the on-site Access Services staff, which may also include PBX, patient scheduling, clinic registrars and off-site locations. Hospital Access Services departments facilitate patient, visitor and provider interactions within their ministry including access to both information and care. This position is responsible for staff scheduling and coverage, implementing a standardized approach in line with the vision of Revenue Cycle and accountable for quality results, caregiver engagement, and patient experience for the ministry. Or equivalent educ/experience Upon hire: Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) Upon hire: Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (CRCE) Upon hire: Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) 3 years experience in an integrated healthcare system in any aspect of access services or a related position. 1 year Personnel management, supervisory or lead experience of a team(s) of 5 or more; 2 years experience preferred. Demonstrates experience designing and implementing process changes, and successfully implementing standardized operational improvements, in collaboration with other leadership. Why Join Providence? The successful candidate\'s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
