About the Role Options for Youth (OFY) is seeking a certified teacher to deliver a data‑driven, results‑based instruction focused on Common Core Standards. Teachers will work 6 hours a day providing direct instruction, assessments, and special education and ELL interventions for students in grades 7‑12. Responsibilities Deliver our educational program and data‑driven instruction for students. Provide direct instruction 6 hours a day. Teach mastery of the Common Core Standards, develop lesson plans, and differentiate curriculum. Use assessments and data to influence instruction and maintain grade, attendance, and retention records. Provide targeted interventions for special education students and English Language Learners. Assist with state‑mandated student testing. Participate in community groups, faculty meetings, professional development, and teacher training workshops. Meet with students and parents to discuss progress and problems. Minimum Qualifications BA/BS Degree. Science CA Preliminary or Clear single‑subject teaching credential with English Language Authorization (ELA) or intern‑eligible.
