Maintenance Technician, Multifamily Creekstone Apartments Job Description Summary: The Maintenance Technician provides support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. This includes quality move‑ins, residential satisfaction, expedited service, and personal attention to the resident. The Maintenance Technician responds to our residents' service needs and is instrumental in helping deliver superior customer service to our residents. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Prepare apartments for move‑in, including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping duties, and other necessary tasks to provide residents with a quality move‑in experience. Respond to resident requests in a timely manner and with a professional attitude. Provide support and accountability for delivering commitments to residents, ensuring quality move‑ins, residential satisfaction, expedited service, and personal attention. Demonstrate knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, general carpentry, painting, and snow removal (if applicable). Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to keep them clean, operational, and safe for residents. Participate in on‑call scheduling and respond to after‑hour emergencies as required. Report maintenance concerns in vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor. Perform maintenance tasks as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor. Understand state, local, and federal fair housing laws. Attend and participate in training programs as required by Cushman & Wakefield. Perform all duties as assigned in a timely manner. Deliver superior customer service and represent the company professionally at all times. Dress per Cushman & Wakefield uniform and professional appearance standards. Maintain all safety procedures and safeguard company tools and equipment. Achieve high productivity through reliable and punctual on‑site attendance and report any tardiness or attendance issues to the immediate supervisor. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. COMPETENCIES Valid Driver's license. EPA 608 – Minimum Type II and CPO or local city required certificate. Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages and prepare and interpret bar graphs. Ability to solve problems involving several known variables in routine situations. Ability to use common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions. Proficiency with arithmetic operations in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Follow all safety procedures. Education Requirements High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school. Experience Requirements 1+ years of related experience. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions is required. Physical Demands Stand and walk for extended periods, ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and step stools, and travel outside between buildings. Remain standing or seated for 85% of the time, operating office machinery. Travel up to 10% of the time. Exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, frequently, or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. Benefits and Compensation The compensation for this position is $20.40 – $24.00 per hour.
