The Dishwasher/Prep is responsible for the cleanliness of all equipment and wares used by the BOH and FOH. This position can also be involved with the BOH's food prep needs throughout any given shift.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Wash large restaurant pots and pansEmptying trash bins in dumpsterSafely slice lettuce, cheese, and other prep items using restaurant equipmentMaintain cleanliness inside/outside of the restaurant to standard, including restroomsAssist the kitchen line when neededMonitoring quality and cleanliness of food and equipment in the BOHAssist the team to meet or exceed speed of service goals for the Guest by ensuring smooth operations and memorable guest experience with all aspectsMaintain food safety HACCP checks dailyComplete other duties as assigned by supervisorCore Competencies:Strong customer service skillsStrong communication skillsGreat problem solving and priority setting skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAttention to detail and excellent organizational skills are a mustRequirements:Role Qualifications:Ability to lift up to 30+ poundsAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to multitask and prioritize taskExcellent verbal communication skillsMust supply a food handlers card when hiredHigh School Diploma or EquivalentPhysical Demands and Work Environment:The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
