Our Mission at Rome Health is to provide quality healthcare with compassion. Rome Health serves a population of approximately 80,000 in the Rome, NY area and its surrounding communities. We are a comprehensive health care system with 130 acute care beds, an 80-bed skilled nursing facility, four primary care clinics, and specialty practices including orthopedics, obstetrics & gynecology, general and bariatric surgery, urology, pulmonology, neurology, and wound care, and a broad array of outpatient services.

Through a strategic affiliation with St. Joseph's Health in Syracuse, Rome Health is in the unique position to collaborate with regional and national health system resources at the same time as retaining the flexibility and agility of an independent community health system.

Rome Health has enjoyed a unique position of growth and stability over the past few years, and is currently engaged in projects to expand surgical services and operating suites, enhance obstetrical services, update inpatient units, and expand access to primary care services.
