About the Role:
3 2 Get Ready Childcare Learning Center in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team! In this rewarding role, you'll help shape young minds during their most formative years in a nurturing and stimulating environment. If you love working with children and are committed to early childhood education, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that fosters growth and development
- Supervise and guide assistant teachers and classroom aides in daily activities
- Monitor and document children's developmental progress and communicate updates to parents and guardians
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom at all times
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members
- Ensure compliance with state childcare regulations and center policies
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Previous experience as a Lead Teacher or in a childcare/preschool setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet Pennsylvania childcare licensing requirements
- Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
