Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Provide quality nursing care to all patients. Serve as a viable member of the nursing staff, utilizing scope of practice. Provide care to all patients with respect for patient rights and dignity. Duties and responsibilities may vary depending on the assigned area of the facility. Minimum education requirement is graduation from an LPN or LVN school. One year of experience within a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians and medical staff. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of different cultures who may not speak English. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. All candidates must show proof of completed COVID vaccinations.
