Floor Care Technician

Job Skills / Requirements

The Floor Tech is responsible for all aspects of floor care, using the latest custodial equipment to provide high-quality service levels while adhering to company policies and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job responsibilities:

• General floor care activities e.g., dust and wet mop, scrub and buff, vacuum, and bonnet
• Periodic floor care activities e.g., scrub and wax, strip and wax, vacuum and extract, pressure washing
• Manages and maintains floor equipment and floor supplies
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Coordinate activities between the customers and the company
• Complete other duties as assigned

Job requirements:

• Skills and Abilities
• • Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver's license and clean MVR
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing work plan
  • Customer-oriented and friendly
• Education and Experience
• • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years of experience in all aspects of floor care preferred
  • Knowledge of industry best practices
• Physical Requirements
• • Stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Repeat the same movements
  • Frequent bending and twisting
  • Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs

Details:

• Full Time All Shifts
• Monday-Friday
• $18/hour
