Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: Full Time Shift: 12 hour days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State Certifications: Current BLS certification Must-Have: Active NIHSS certification or ability to acquire prior to hire; BSN - or agreeable to sign stating they will get it within 3 years of hire date; compact RN license; confirmation of interest in Direct Hire; salary expectations Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a plan of patient care utilizing standards and the nursing process. Acts as a patient advocate. Provides support, information, and direct care. Utilizes equipment and technology skillfully and is technically competent in nursing procedures. Educates patients and families on significant self-care issues. The inventory, distribution, and delivery of medications may be required. Offers a full range of services, including neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, joint replacement, emergency care, wound care, and comprehensive cancer care. Provides community health services through a network of family medicine and specialty care offices. New technologies continue to define the standard for safer care, faster recoveries, and better outcomes.
