This role involves providing maternity leave coverage for a middle school caseload of approximately 40 students. Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (Illinois)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
• Previous experience working in a school setting, especially with grades 6-8, highly valued
• Strong ability to organize and manage a diverse caseload
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
• Knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs and progress monitoring
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to a caseload of roughly 40 students in grades 6-8
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with educators, administration, and families to support student progress
• Maintain detailed records, document therapy sessions, and communicate progress updates effectively
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team problem-solving
