About the role: Join the Tamworth Dental Clinic as a Trainee Dental Assistant and play an important role in supporting the delivery of quality dental care to adults and children across Tamworth and surrounding communities. In this hands-on role, you'll contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the Dental Unit by providing both clinical and administrative support to the team. Operating Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, the Tamworth Dental Clinic is a busy eight-chair service offering general dentistry, children's dental care, and specialist services. You'll gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and supportive environment while learning alongside experienced oral health professionals. We are committed to supporting your success, with full training provided, including a comprehensive orientation program delivered by the Oral Health Management team. Throughout the year, you'll also have access to ongoing workshops and development opportunities to help build your skills and support future career growth. About you: You are motivated to undertake and complete a Certificate III in Dental Assisting through an approved Smart and Skilled training organisation. With a professional, compassionate approach and strong communication skills, you can build positive working relationships and provide excellent support to patients and colleagues. You enjoy working collaboratively, are organised, and can contribute effectively in a busy team environment.
